The Center for development of Pelagonija region today 18.08.2015 began the activities for regulation of the water flow in the village of Dolno Aglarci, Municipality of Novaci. In the past this channel was functioning as torrential channel which regulated the waters from the catchment area by their conduction to the Dobrushevo channel.
In meantime in the foot basin, constructed was a channel which takes over the biggest part of the torrential waters, so the function of this channel remained to be evacuation of the local atmospheric waters of the vicinity of village Dolno Aglarci. In the framework of this phase predicted is cleaning of the channel, formation of new profile as well as concreting in length of 270metres. The project besides towards protection of the environment will also contribute to increased economic development because with its activities minimized will be the risk of overflow of river water and flooding of fertile agricultural land. This project is one of the two in which the Center for development of Pelagonija region will intervene this construction season, the second project is in the municipality of Mogila for regulation of the riverbed of Semnica river.The funds for realization of this project are provided thru the program for equal regional development for 2015 year from the Ministry of local self-government and the Bureau for regional development.
