As part of the activities of the Ministry of Local self-government`s project “Innovative solutions for improved access to local services” implemented by the UN Development Programme in RM in cooperation with Centers for regional development, on October the 10th in Bitola a workshop for preparation of Registry of rural tourism potentials in Pelagonija region was held.
The workshop attended representatives from public, civil and tourism business sector. They, together with UNDP`s National Tourism Expert and part of the research team, did analyze the first Registry draft. Once prepared, the main objective of this document will be to present up-to-date database with natural and man-made resources of Pelagonija region, providing solid base for development and implementation of quality tourism development policies. According to the timetable of the project, the final version of the Registry should be prepared by mid November 2017.
