The Center for development of Pelagonia planning region organized promo event on the 25th of January 2016 for presenting the investment opportunities in Pelagonia planning region. On this event it were presented the Guide for investments with collection of industrial zones in Pelagonia region, Program for support of the private sector and website www.investinpelagoniaregion.mk, developed within the project:
Expansion of the functions of the centers for development of the planning regions for implementation of activities / services for support of the private sector, financed by the Ministry for local self government of RM. Main objective of the project is increasing of the competitiveness of the planning regions through supporting the entrepreneurship and SMEs in the regions.
The event participants were addressed by the President of the Council of Pelagonia planning region and mayor of municipality of Resen Mr. Gjoko Strezovski, President of Regional chamber of commerce in Bitola Mr. Mirko Velkovski and Director of the Center for development of Pelagonia planning region Mrs. Emilia Gjeroska, who emphasized the importance of these document in order to attract more investors in the region.
These documents are developed with the purpose for easy access to informations for potential domestic and foreign investors by providing specific data where are the industrial zones, free locations, their specifics and advantages offered and planned future activities in the region in order to support the private sector.
These documents will be disseminated regionally and nationally, and abroad by the promoters of RM in other countries, who will present the regions to the potential investors in order to attract more investment, and of course through the web site that will be used as a tool for gaining information for the characteristics, resources and potentials of the region and the investment opportunities available in all greenfield and brownfield locations in Pelagonia.
