The Center for development of Pelagonija planning region today started the implementation of the project: Increased energy efficiency of the facility of SOU Krste Misirkov, Demir Hisar by changing the existing external carpentry. The basic problem with which faced this secondary school was the decrepit and non -functional external carpentry. Along side this, another recurrent problem were the great heating expenses made by the school in the winter period.
With the change of the external carpentry, besides securing heating isolation and safety, also overpassed will be the problems in terms of sound protection, infiltration of rainwater, resistance towards weather conditions and temperature differences.
Thermal insulation characteristics are of great importance for energy efficiency of the objects, because of the problem with the heating bridges thru which there is a greater pressure of the heating energy. With the savings made in terms of heat consumption, further on enabled will be investments in other construction activities which will improve the studying conditions for the future generations in the school.
The increased energy efficiency will result in smaller emission of harmful substances in the air and protection of the environment. In this first phase altered will be 105 windows and doors made of PVC and aluminum profile. The newly installed carpentry is five chamber with double-glazing 4 + 16 + 4 filled with argon 90% known as 4 seasons glass. The total value of this project is 1.607.192,00 mkd. The financial support for realization of this project is provided by the program for regional development for 2015 of the Ministry of local self-government and the Bureau for regional development.
