The Center for Development of Pelagonija planning region on 02.12.2014 in Alexander Palace in Skopje participated on a promotional conference in organization of GIZ RED. The aim of the event was presentation of the achievements of GIZ RED program and the future activities of this program for promotion of the Regional development in R. Macedonia, as well as promotion of the PBG Instrument of GIZ RED.
In the same time on the event organized was a promotional expo part in which the Centers for development of the planning regions had the opportunity to present their projects, activities and achievements as well as future plans and projects with their potential sources of funding.On the promotional conference a speech was delivered by the Minister of Local self -government of the Republic of Macedonia Mr. Lirim Shabani which in his addressing to the present participants put the focus on the activities that the Ministry of Local self-government which are especially directed towards the regional development, on the projects that were realized in the previous period and the sustainability of the Centers for development of the Planning regions.The present guests addressed were also by the Deputy Minister of the Government of Republic of Macedonia Mr. Vladimir Peshevski, the German Ambassador Mrs. Althauzer, a representative of the Swiss Embassy in Macedonia Mrs. Shtoker as well as the Director of GIZ Mr. Forbs.The Center for development of Pelagonija planning region presented by the Head of the Center Mrs. Emilia Gjeroska, in front of the Minister for Local self-government Mr. Shabani presented the projects of the PBG Grant scheme for 2014.
