On Thursday 07.11.2013 in Bitola in Milenium hotel the sixth and final training was held within the project “Raising awareness of the rural population in the Pelagonija region for the use of biomass to make energy.”
which is funded by the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning and implemented by the Centre for development of Pelagonija Region. The main objective of the project is to inform the rural population in the Pelagonija region of the use of biomass for energy, the possibility of cost savings in households and preserving the environment. Attendees were greeted by the Director of the CDPR, Mrs. Emilia Gjeroska who presented the project its value for the Pelagonija region and its significance as a first pilot project of this kind in our region. Further on the training through practical examples and presentations was conducted by experts for use of renewable energy from CeProSARD Skopje.
