On May 8th, the Pelagonija planned region was introduced at the “Macedonia” square in Skopje within the frames of the project “Promotional days of the regions” under the motto “Love Macedonia-enjoy your motherland”.
A part of the culture of every municipality in our region was presented (Bitola, Prilep, Krusevo, Resen, Demir Hisar, Novaci, Mogila, Dolneni, Krivogastani), the investment opportunities, the natural resources and tourist attractions through promotional brochures, traditional cuisine and products. Also, the citizens were introduced to the working domain of the Development Center of the Pelagonija planned region.
The attractive scene performance, which was a fusion of traditional music represented by the cultural-artistic associations of various municipalities, and the contemporary punk of “Parketi” from Bitola and blues of “Crossroad Blues Band” from Prilep, was tempting a number of people in Skopje to attend this event.
The manifestation was officially opened by the president of ZELS, Mr. Koce Trajanoski, and greeted speeches were held by the president of the Pelagonija planned region, Mr. Vladimir Taleski, and the head of the Development Center of the Pelagonija planned region, Mrs. Emilia Geroska.
This manifestation is organized by ZELS and during every following Saturday until June 26th, the remaining seven planned regions in Macedonia will be presented.
