On May 24th, 2011 in Korcha, Albania at the Grand Hotel, the first regional presentation for business opportunities investment in the Pelagonia region was held. Representatives from all business companies in Korcha participated on this presentation.
Presenter was Mr. Lazar Nedanoski form the Macedonian center for International Cooperation. Mrs. Vilma Petro, representative from the public administration sector in Korcha greeted the guests, as well as Mr. Rubin Nikoloski from the Center for development of Pelagonia region. First part of this event was reserved for presenting the industrial zones, the advantages and their potentials. The second part was dedicated to presenting the all remaining possibilities and opportunities which the municipalities of the region offer to the potential investments: facilities, tax deduction, and support in completing the documentation. Also, the potential tourist areas were presented, in the municipality of Bitola, Resen, Krusevo, Prilep). Businessmen from Albania were mostly interested for the law regulations, and investment in the waterpower industry. At the end, participant discussed their ideas which can be made with their partners in Macedonia.
