Centеr for Development of Pelagonija region, in cooperation with USAID Small Business Expansion Project implemented by Carana Corporation, on the 26th of May officially handed over 12 greenhouses to farmers in Pelagonija region that will directly serve to increase not only the quality, but also the quantity of production of peppers in this region.
This initiative is a pilot project within PeLAGonija LEADER project, USAID Small Business Expansion Project.On this event contracts were signed for handing the equipment, which was delivered and installed on time to all 12 farmers. Farmers from the Prilep region are satisfied with the implementation of this project and they hope that in the future they will increase and improve the production of peppers on their fields, and thus contribute to a better ranking of pepper in the region and beyond.Centеr for Development of Pelagonija region will continue to implement projects that will contribute to agricultural production, thus improving the quality of life of residents in rural areas.
