SECRETARIAT FOR EUROPEAN AFFAIRS
Secretariat for European Affairs (SEA) is a special department within the Government of RM established in 2005 aiming to support the EU accession process of RM. Main SEA responsibilities are coordination and aligning the work of national institutions towards EU membership, coordination and monitoring of the National program for EU acquis adoption, drafting national version of the acquis and translation of the national legislation, strengthening institutional capacities for EU integration and informing and communication with the general public regarding the activities related to European integration. One of the most important SEA functions is coordination of EU, EU member states, and other bilateral development assistance related to the EU integration of RM.

DELEGATION OF THE EU TO THE RM
Delegation of the EU (DEU) to the RM has been established in 2000. With the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty, the EU is represented in RM by the DEU. Main mission of the DEU is to be liaison between national institutions and EU institutions. DEU monitors and reports on the compliance of the national political and economic criteria for membership of the EU, alignment of national legislation with EU legislation. DEU informs citizens and civil servants on the association process and plays major role in management of EU financial support for the reform processes in RM. DEU to the RM works in close cooperation with other EU member states consular and diplomatic missions present in RM.

EUROPEAN COMMISSION
European Commission (EC) is the main executive body of the European Union. It acts as an informal government, drafting EU legislation, managing EU policies implementation and structural funds execution. EC is consisted of 27 commissioners, each coming from different EU member state. Commissioners and EC President designation is under the mandate of European Parliament. EC together with European Parliament and Council of the EU sets long-term EU strategic policies and financial frameworks while the EU Parliament and Council of the EU accept the EU budget previously prepared by the Commission. EC monitors the work of national agencies, national and regional authorities in their EU funds execution. EC has is seats in Brussels and Luxembourg, office in each EU member state and 130 Delegations in countries worldwide.

COMMITTEE OF THE REGIONS
Committee of the regions has been established in 1994 as a consultative body consisted of regional and local authorities from Europe. Each EU member state nominates its own Committee representative with mandate of 4 years. Committee of the regions has President who has mandate of 2 years. Main function of the Committee is to represents positions of local and regional authorities in Europe regarding policy and financial proposals by the European Commission. Committee of the regions office`s is in Brussels.
