The Center for Development of Pelagonija region on the 16th of November 2012 in the conference room of Municipality building in Resen, held info day within the project “Introducing and implementing of the EU LEADER approach in Pelagonija region”.
The purpose of the event was to inform the population in the region for the principles of the LEADER approach, to define the needs of the rural areas in Resen and to get ideas for future pilot projects.Presentation was held by the project coordinator Mr. Vladimir Velickovski who presented the idea of this initiative and through examples of LEADER projects in the EU countries were shown the possibilities the EU LEADER approach has to offer.Main topic for discussion were the expectations from the LEADER approach and already were detected several potential ideas for projects which can be very important for the development of the region.
