Center for Development of Pelagonija region within the project “Introduction and implementation of the EU LEADER approach in Pelagonija region” on the 13th of May 2013 in Hotel Milenuim in Bitola organized training with topic: “Skills for conducting analysis of the territory”. The participants on the training gained information about the term of “territory analysis” and why do we need to make analysis in preparing strategic documents. On the training were presented most used tools for making analysis, like SWOT and PEST, which are basics for the process of strategic planning.
On the event attended US Ambassador Paul D. Wohlers, representatives from USAID Macedonia, Director of Carana Corporation Mr. Carl Larkins, Director of Center for Development of Pelagonija Region Ms. Emilia Geroska, representatives from National Extension Agency for Agriculture etc.
The project is financially supported by USAID Project for expansion of small businesses, implemented by Carana Corporation, who started the initiative Grow more corn as a first step in modernizing corn production in Macedonia. This initiative is implemented in Pelagonija by USAID Project for expansion of small businesses in partnership with the Center for development of Pelagonija region.
