At the 13th regular Session of the Council for development of Pelagonia region, one of the subject matters was Presentation of the models for establishing system for integrated waste management in the Pelagonia region by the Ministry of environment and urban planning, lead by the Minister Abdalikim Ademi.
At this session, all nine mayors from Pelagonia region had the opportunity to get acquainted with the two models for establishing system for integrated waste management:
1. Through out competitive dialogue and Public private partnership, and
2. By support of the IPA instrument
After the discussion between the members of the Council for development of Pelagonia region and the representatives of the Ministry of environment and urban planning, all mayors from the municipalities of Pelagonia region and at the same time, members of the Council for development made the decision that Pelagonia region will establish a regional system for integrated waste management supported by the IPA instrument.
