On 28.11.2014 in Hotel Millennium Bitola, presented was the draft Program for development of the Pelagonija planning region 2015 – 2019.On the event present were more than 100 representatives of the local self – governments from the Pelagonija region, the public sector, the business sector and the civil society.
The prepared proposal Program preceded was by 6 workshops, held during a period of 2 months and on the same participation took the representatives of the local self – governments from the Pelagonija region, the public, the business and the civil sector.On the presentation welcome speeches had the Deputy Minister for local self – government M – r Ljupco Prendzov, the Mayor of the Municipality of Bitola M – r Vladimir Taleski, the Head of the Center for Development of Pelagonija region Mrs. Emilia Gjeroska, The regional Coordinator of GIZ RED for the Pelagonija region Mrs. Anica Palazzo and a Representative of the European Commission in Macedonia Mrs. Mojca Krisper Figueroa.During the presentation the participants had opportunity to express their notes and opinions thru a common discussion.The program for development of the Pelagonija planning region is expected to be approved in the following months.
