At the invitation of the Center for Development of Pelagonia Region, on the occasion of the Earth Day, celebrated on April 22nd, President of Republic of Macedonia Dr. Ivanov on April 22nd, 2012 (Sunday) visited Bitola ZOO, where under his auspices was held the event ‘Every day is a happy day.
On this event, the Center for Development of Pelagonia region presented the already crafted technical documentation for the ZOO in Bitola, which is a necessary precondition for the start of the reconstruction, where all other activities have been undertaken by the Center for Development of Pelagonia region. At this event, the Director of the Center for Development of Pelagonia Region announced the construction of the children’s park in Bitola ZOO to be put into operation by June, as well as building the home for hippo that should be build by the end of this year.
