Center for development of Pelagoinia region on June 6th, 2011 organized a regional presentation for the investment opportunities in Peagonia region in Florina, Republic Greece. Guests of this presentation were representatives of the business sector from the region, the city of Florina and the surroundings, and Mr. Yoannis Voskopolous, Major of Florina, Mr. Lazar Kotevski, Mayor of municipalitu Novaci, Mr. Slavko Veleski, Major of municipality Mogila, Mr. Abdula Bajramoski, Major of municipality Dolneni, Mr. Aris Aristidu,
President of the Chamber of commerce in Florina and Mrs. Zeta Rizu, Director of the regional development agency AN. FLO – Florina.
Participants had the opportunity to presence a presentation on both industrial zones in the region of Pelagonia, their characteristics, goals, usage, and advantages. Besides the industrial zones, comparative advantages and investment potentials were also presented for each of the municipalities of the region, the tax deduction, stimulation, and the support which the municipality administration offer to the possible investors regarding the documentation, and information.After the official presentation, the guests Majors from the Pelagonia region and the Mayor of the city of Florina, during the cocktail made informal conversations regarding the mutual collaboration between the both regions and utilization of the funds from the European Union.
