On Monday 12.05.2014 in the premisses of the Center for Development of Pelagonija planning region, held was a consultative meeting for programing of the IPA 2 Program, between representatives of the Delegation of the European Union in Republic of Macedonia and representatives of all relevant stakeholders in development, creation and implementation of politics in the tourism sector in Pelagonija.
As relevant stakeholders in the development of tourism, present were representatives of the municipalities from the Pelagonija region, representatives of public institutions, representatives of the tourism business sector, service providers, representatives of the travel agencies as well as representatives of the civil sector.The meeting was of consultative character and on the same presented were the potentials, opportunities and the needs for development and promotion of tourism in the Pelagonija region.Expected outcome of the meeting is the input of the needs of the tourism sector in Pelagonija in the new IPA 2 Program, finally aiming towards more efficient use of the available funds.After the conclusion of the consultative meeting, the representatives of the Delegation of EU in RM realized a meeting with the Director of CDPPR Mrs. Emilia Gjeroska and the Head of department for international cooperation and implementation of projects in CDPPR Mr. Rubin Nikoloski.Next consultative meeting for further development of the IPA 2 Program, the Delegation of EU was scheduled for the end of June 2014.The meeting was realized in organization of the Center for development of Pelagonija planning region upon request of the Delegation of EU in Republic of Macedonia.
