On the 29th and 30th of April, the joint Training on environmental enhancement in the cross border area was held in Florina. The participants on this training were the civil servants from the departments for environmental protection from both regions. The overall objective of the project “ZOO Innovativa” is to contribute towards the enhancement of the environmental recourses in the cross border region of Pelagonija/ Florina.
The civil servants from the cross border region had the opportunity to jointly discuss on the subject: protection of the environment in the cross border region, as well as to initiate joint activities in the future. The participants on this training had the opportunity to visit the Center for environmental protection and education in Vevi- Florina, as well as the regional land filed in Kozani. This joint training was held as part of the project “ZOO INNOVATIVA” financed within the program for cross border cooperation between Republic of Macedonia and republic of Greece.
