On the 04.07.2013. in Bitola was held a training in the framework of a project of GIZ RED Macedonia in which predicted are measures for strengthening the capacities and other relevant subjects for the municipal councils.On the second session of the Council for development of the Pelagonija region, the mayors of the 9 Municipalities approved the beginning of the a project financed by GIZ with whom will be provided around 50.000 euros for making of the technical documentation for several big infrastructural projects, for which further on will be submitted request for financial support for their realization.
The first step is the training session for the councils and the presidents of the Councils for the meaning of the regional development, what does that mean, the legislation and the roll of the Municipal Councils.The Center for development of the Pelagonia region has a successful cooperation with GIZ which is in Macedonia since January 2008 and is one of the main partners who support Macedonia in the conducting of the policy for regional development.
