The Center for development of Pelagonija region attended the 2nd European Territorial Cooperation Conference, launching the programming period 2014-2020. The topic of the conference was “The challenge of synergies” of the programs for cross border cooperation.
The conference took place on 22nd & 23rd June 2015 in Thessaloniki, Greece, and its aim was presentation of the cross-border program Greece-Republic of Macedonia, as well as the cross border programs for territorial cooperation (Greece-Bulgaria, Greece-Cyprus, Greece-Italy, Greece-Albania, as well as the new program Balkan-Mediterranean).The representatives of the Center for Development of Pelagonija region, except the presentation of cross border cooperation Program Greece - Macedonia, attended the presentation of the program –Balkan-Mediterranean.Within the framework this conference, held was a projects fair, on which presented were the development projects implemented within the CBC Program in the period 2007-2013.The Centre for Development of Pelagonija region, successfully implemented two joint cross border projects under the CBC Program Republic Greece - R. Macedonia 2007-2013: "Innovative educational programs strengthening the natural resources in the cross border region Pelagonija / Florina - ZOO Innovative" and “Plan for development of joint cross-border fire protection -FIRESHIELD " both worth 967,272 euros.
