Starting from 23.07.2012 and ending on 26.07.2012, in Bitola Zoo, Olympic Games, called Zoolympics will happen. The purpose of Zoolympics is to change behavior among the youngest visitors of Bitola Zoo, increase the level of their sporting activities and to encourage and promote competitive spirit.Zoolympics disciplines, in which children compete are:
- Kangaroo hoop,
- Run like an ostrich,
- Through the bear’s cave,
- Hawk’s Eye,
- Beat the Leopard,
- Snake`s race
- Walk like an Elephant
All competitions begin at 18:30 and end at 20:30.Tickets to Zoo during Zoolympics cost 30 denars.For the winners, the organizers provide special awards.Zooolympics represents one more step towards the implementation of educational program for marketing and promotion of the Zoo Garden in Bitola, which was prepared by the NGO "Biosfera" upon the Centre for Development of the Pelagonia region request.
